Amos Lee is a singer / songwriter hailing from Philadelphia, PA. Lee is known for his striking and passionate voice and beautifully intricate, yet simple, songwriting with folk, soul, and blues influences. Lee has released a total of 6 studio albums with his 2011 release, Mission Bell, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200. He has toured incessantly since his first album in 2004 opening for the likes of Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Van Morrison, The Avett Brother, Zac Brown, and former Blue Note label alum Norah Jones. Lee has had songs featured on the TV show Grey’s Anatomy, as well as numerous live appearances on late night TV including The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His latest record Sprit, released on August 19th via John Varvatos Records, is a creative leap for Lee and leans heavily on his Philly funk roots.
