David Bowie – Who Can I Be Now?
David Bowie fans rejoice, the follow up to the critically acclaimed set, David Bowie “Five Years (1969 – 1973), and 2nd in a series of David Bowie boxed sets will arrive this September. “Who Can I Be Now?” (1974 – 1976) follows one of the most influential artists of all time from his transition as Ziggy Stardust into the Thin White Duke.
The set contains twelve CD’s, a thirteen-piece vinyl set, and multiple digital downloads featuring the previously unreleased 1974 album The Gouster, along with classics Diamond Dogs, David Live, Young Americans, Station to Station and Live Nassau Coliseum 76. The set also offers a new compilation record entitled Re:Call 2 featuring a collection of single versions of classic songs, as well as a plethora of non-album b-sides.
The box set is accompanied by a 128 page book in the CD form, and an 84 page book in the vinyl set with rare and unpublished photographs from Tom Kelley, Terry O’Neill, and Steve Schapiro. Lifelong Bowie producer and friend Tony Visconti as well as Harry Maslin also give their first-hand perspectives on historical press reviews and technical notes from the albums.
