While Guns N’ Roses have garnered their share of headlines of late, former members Izzy Stradlin and Matt Sorum are set to make some of their own. Set for release later this month, Stradlin’s latest track, entitled F.P. Money, finds the veteran drummer guesting on the track and Stradlin on both guitar and vocals. “Matt Sorum and I crossed paths earlier this year and both agreed it might be fun to one day throw down a new track and see what we get,” Stradlin explained in a tweet, detailing how the collaboration came together. The song, recorded and mixed by J.T. Longoria at Brotheryn Studios, also features Damon Fox on keyboards, Tony Babylon on bass and Rick Richards on lead guitar.
”It was great to reconnect again and make some rock n’ roll with this great singer, songwriter, guitarist and all-around cool dude,” Sorum says. “ Music for music’s sake. It was really organic and fun.”
