Tyler Bryant – Artist Spotlight
Tyler Bryant received his first guitar at age 6, at age 16 he received the prestigious Robert Johnson Foundation’s New Generation Award, and at age 17 he was invited by Eric Clapton to play the Crossroads Guitar Festival. He has toured with heavyweight international superstars including: Joe Bonamassa, Heart, Styx, and AC/DC, and country music behemoth Vince Gill has referred to him as a “future guitar god”. Bryant hails from Honey Grove, TX, but found traction in Nashville, TN where he met drummer Caleb Crosby, guitarist Graham Whitford, and bassist Noah Denney to form Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, a blues forward band that has recorded an EP, The Wayside, and a full length record, Wild Child, with new music on the horizon. Their brand of catchy rock and sing along hooks combined with tried and true swampy slide guitar will hopefully push the blues sound for the new generation.
Tyler Bryant &The Shakedown just finished an opening stint with AC/DC on their European summer tour, and are currently back in the states playing with Zakk Wylde.
